Kirtan

Singing from the Heart

Kirtan is singing from the heart, which means welcoming sound however it comes out. Welcoming all our feelings in any color. Deep happiness, ecstasy, as well as pain or sadness. During a Kirtan we sing ancient and new songs. The lyrics are always short and simple. Some mantras originate in ancient Hindu Bhakti Yoga, Buddhist prayers for peace, Rainbow family songs about connection, shamanic sounds about mother nature or zen poems from Plum Village.

In the circle we create a safe space to sing however we sing right now. All our voices are a unique expression, so beginners or experts, all are so welcome, because each moment is new.

What does it sound like?
